Widely known for its strong tennis tradition, Minnesota will host a world-class pro tennis exhibition at the Fred Wells Tennis and Educatin Center on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 4:30 p.m. featuring men and women professionals from around the world.

The evening of tennis, titled the Minnesota Tennis Challenge, includes a team tennis format beginning with a women’s singles match between two 11 yr old tennis phenoms Ingrid Neil and Jessie Aney (both highly ranked US players). Captains David Wheaton and Steve Wilkinson will substitute tour professionals Bethanie Mattek and Julie Ditty for the youngsters to complete the Women’s Singles Match.

Justin Gimelstob will then play Rajeev Ram in a Men’s singles match followed by Butorac and Ram playing against Gimelstob and Devarrman.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 25th. Tickets will be limited to 400 adult tickets and 100 junior tickets.

Ticket prices are $100 for adult tickets (includes Player Reception Party, food and beverages following the matches). Junior tickets are $40 each. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ebmntc.com or be calling (651) 222-2879.
